I bought them over a month ago and have yet to charge them. They work great and auto mode works well, as soon as I open the closet, the lights go on. Mine are connected magnetically to the closet door header, no brackets. Nice and bright,

I made a few attempts in the past to purchase some type of lighting to go underneath my kitchen cupboards. They all failed. What I like about these is that you don’t have to be locked into just using them on auto, you can turn them on and off and have several different settings for the type of light that you desire. I placed mine right underneath the lip of the cupboard so that when I turn them on, you just see the light. I also like how the light is ‘warm’ instead of ‘cool’. I’m not sure how long I can go without charging them, but when I did, it took about two hours.
